How Many Miles Can You Drive For $50?

How far can you drive on $50 worth of fuel?

It all depends on what country you are driving in.

When you fill up $50 of fuel in a Ford Fiesta in the UK, you could drive for an average of 384 miles. In the US, this is 774 miles (double the distance).

In the UAE, you'd be able to drive just over 970 miles and in Egypt, 1500 miles. The country where your £50 of fuel would go the furthest is Iran, where yo could drive over 2356 miles.
The difference is crazy, isn't it?

But wait, there's more…

The countries where you'd need to fill up the fastest are Hong Kong and Norway (after 307 and 319 miles respectively).

Veygo, a British car insurance company, have launched The Global Fuel Price Index:

The study looked to showcase how far you can drive on £50 (also $ and €) of petrol in 50 countries around the world, based upon the UK's best selling car; a Ford Fiesta.
